The Sports Radar 3600 handheld radar gun, is a precision training instrument designed for coaches and sports enthusiast. The Sports Radar 3600 is designed as a training tool for a variety of sports activities. The Radar Gun is a microprocessor based computing device that uses a low power Doppler radar transceiver. Stay clear of all roadways, maintain a safe distance from the objects you are measuring the speeds of. The Sports Radar 3600 is not intended to measure the speeds of vehicles, but it will.
If it moves, Sports Radar 3600 can clock its' speed. Radar guns are the most effective way to improve your skills in many sports. If you currently own a Sports Radar 3500 or 3600 and want to add a Display.
The LCD (DS400-A) Display will connect straight to your 3500 or 3600 radar unit. The Red (DL-431) LED will connect straight to a 3600 radar unit. To connect the new Red (DL-431) LED display to a 3500 radar unit you will need an adapter (P2S-35-L4).

The only requirement is that the target be moving almost directly towards or away from the radar for the most accurate readings.

Radar is subject to "Angle Error". The formula is Cosine of angle X actual speed = radar reading. |
| At small angles the error is very small. |
| If angle is 5 degrees, then radar will read 99.6% of actual speed / Example actual target speed 50 MPH, gun reading 49.8 MPH |
| If angle is 10 degrees, then radar will read 98.5% of actual speed / Example actual target speed 50 MPH, gun reading 49.2 MPH |
| If angle is 15 degrees, then radar will read 96.6% of actual speed / Example actual target speed 50 MPH, gun reading 48.3 MPH |
