The Phantom Handheld Radar Gun is an easy to use professional K Band, stationary radar gun for anyone to use. The Phantom Handheld offers all of the common features of professional police traffic radar in a Hi Performance Low Cost Design.
What does high performance mean?
Three things ... FAST ACTION - LONG RANGE - SUPER ACCURATE!
FAST ACTION; Pull the trigger on the Phantom and the speed display appears instantly. No time for the violator to slow down. Until then, the Phantom is invisible to all radar detectors. No other radar is faster.
LONG RANGE; The Phantom can accurately read vehicles so far away that they are at the limits of vision. The range is adjustable for in town operation. No other radar shoots farther.
SUPER ACCURATE; No matter how weak or strong the signal, the Phantom confirms the speed to within +/- 1/10 MPH before it displays. This is more accurate than most other handhelds, and as accurate as any.

Internal super accurate crystal check. Push the test button and an internal crystal generates an exact 60 MPH signal, testing the Phantom for proper and accurate operation, and also tests the display indicators.

Completely Safe and Legal The Phantom is approved under part 15 of the FCC rules, this means you don't need a license to operate it. The Phantom is proudly made in the USA.
Also, it's radiated power density is less than the Federal guidelines for a microwave oven.
Simply plug the Phantoms' coiled cord into the 12 volt lighter plug in any vehicle, or the Phantom can go anywhere you go, with the optional battery pack and charger. The battery pack will run the Phantom for over 5 or 10 hours, (depending on which battery you select) on a full charge. The battery pack has a shoulder strap and weighs under 6lbs.

Radar is subject to "Angle Error". The formula is Cosine of angle X actual speed = radar reading. |
